Oasis of the Seas Subsititues Flamouth, Jamica on Initial Sailings

(June 1, 2009) Oasis of the Seas will call at Mexico’s Costa Maya on 16 Western Caribbean sailings from May through November next year, instead of at Jamaica’s new port of Falmouth.

‘The completion of the port is going to take longer than we had hoped, but Falmouth will be outstanding when it is completed,’ said Craig Milan, svp land operations for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.
The Western Caribbean route will also visit Cozumel and Labadee, as planned. Oasis of the Seas will alternate its Western Caribbean itinerary with an Eastern Caribbean route including St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Nassau.
The ship is scheduled to operate the original Western Caribbean itinerary and make its maiden call at Falmouth during the Dec. 11, 2010 sailing.
