Pearl Seas Cruises canceled the 2009 Canadian inaugural season of Pearl Mist, citing ‘deficiencies recently discovered during sea trials, quality issues and construction delays.’ The vessel has been repeatedly delayed during its construction at Irving Shipbuilding in Halifax.Passengers booked on the canceled 2009 cruises have the option of receiving a full refund of their deposits or rebooking for a later cruise.
