Costa Cruise Costa Allegra Reportedly Sold to Turkish Breakers
Reports are circulating that the long awaited sale of the Costa Allegra to Turkish Breakers has occurred. The ship was seen in Italy last week, where she has been laid-up since her fire in February of this year. The fire caused significant damage to the ship and Costa opted to lay the ship up and offer her for sale rather than repair the ship. Photos show the Costa insignia being removed from the ship and other work starting to prepare the vessel for her tow to Turkey.

More to come.
