Ocean Village Final Voyage Almost Sold Out.

February 8, 2010 - The heat is on for UK cruise-lovers with Ocean Village today announcing that there are only 50 Caribbean cruise cabins left in its 2010 winter sun programme - the casual cruise company’s last ever Caribbean season. Ocean Village, the cruise line which first introduced the UK to a younger, fresher and more informal cruise holiday concept, is urging people to act fast and book now to avoid disappointment.

With just a farewell Mediterranean summer season to follow the winter’s Caribbean programme, this really is the British public’s very last chance to visit the paradise islands with the brand which put casual cruising on the map when it launched in 2003.

Prices for remaining winter sun Caribbean cruises start from as little as £1299pp* for a 14 night cruise, including ex-UK flights and transfers to Barbados where passengers board the ship before visiting a further 10 gorgeous Caribbean islands.

Last chance Ocean Village Caribbean sailings departing March 2010 include:

    • Combined Cocktails and Coconuts/Beaches and Boardwalks cruise (departing 3rd March 2010)
    • Flying out of the UK to Barbados, passengers will then visit Tobago, Isla Margarita, St Lucia, Grenada, St Vincent, Tortola, St Maarten, St Kitts, Antigua and Dominica before returning to Barbados for the homeward flight

    • Combined Beaches and Boardwalks/Cocktails and Coconuts cruise (departing 10th March 2010)
    • Fly out of the UK and meet the ship in Barbados. From here, sail on to Tortola, St Maarten, St Kitts, Antigua, Dominica, Tobago, Isla Margarita, St Lucia, Grenada and St Vincent before heading back to Barbados for the homeward flight

Gill Haynes, Head of Marketing Communications for Ocean Village, comments: “Our farewell Caribbean programme is a compilation of our ‘greatest hits’ showcasing the very best of the islands. Ocean Village pioneered casual cruising for the British market, offering a relaxed, chilled-out holiday experience and becoming synonymous with high quality holidays at a value for money price.

“Our goodbye Caribbean season is no exception but with cabins selling fast, this is our final call to Ocean Village fans and cruise virgins alike to enjoy casual cruising in its purest form in the Caribbean while they can. It’s now or never!”
