Container Ships Hit Hard By Economy

From time to time, I will mention freighters (or container ships), since some freight lines offer passenger accommodations.

With the recent slow-down in the economy, many container ships have not been able to find employment. It is estimated that approximately 395 container ships are currently laid-up awaiting further deployment.
In addition, I am noticing that many bulk and container ships are being sold for scrap at a young age (less than 20 years old), since the immediate outlook for employment looks dismal.
