Legend of the Seas Choose New Asia Homeport

Eight new itineraries are part of Royal Caribbean International’s spring and summer 2010 Asia roster of 14 sailings, part of the company’s year-round deployment in the region with Legend of the Seas.

The cruises range from four to nine nights. Many mingle exotic new ports for Royal Caribbean such as Hualien, Miyazaki, Nagoya and Vladivostok with more familiar names. Yokohama joins Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai in the homeport line-up.

Highlights of the newly released season include six sailings of four different itineraries from Hong Kong to destinations including Sanya, Hue/Danang, Taipei and Okinawa. Passengers have a choice of two different itineraries from Yokohama, one to Shanghai, Jeju and Busan, and the other to Hakodate, Otaru, Vladivostok and Shanghai. There will also be three sailings from Kaohsiung to ports including Halong Bay and Hong Kong.

Royal Caribbean said Legend of the Seas’ cruises from Shanghai to popular Japanese and Korean destinations such as Kobe, Kagoshima and Busan are expected to attract the interest of local and international visitors in the city during World Expo 2010.
