Voyages of Discovery Offer Discount

(Jan. 27, 2010) -- Destination specialist Voyages of Discovery announces exceptional savings on its Summer 2010 cruisetour program – book an inside cabin and sail in an oceanview cabin!

For a limited time, guests who book an inside category (N or M) will be upgraded to an oceanview category (K or J respectively). Along with $199 to $399 low-cost air add-ons from 25 select Voyages of Discovery gateways, this offer will sell out quickly. Special rates for single travelers are also available.

This offer is valid for seven selected sailings starting with the July 26, 2010 Fjords, Faroes, Fire and Ice 11-night Harwich (London) to Reykjavik itinerary. This cruisetour includes a two-night pre-cruise London hotel stay before visiting Flåm, Ålesund, Tórshavn, Akureyri and an overnight in Reykjavik prior to disembarking on August 6. The inside category N fare starts at $3,493 per person for a category K oceanview cabin.

The Iceland & Greenland 17-night itinerary begins with an overnight on board in Reykjavik on August 6. The 650-passenger ship mv Discovery sails for Ilulissat (120 miles north of the Arctic Circle), Nuuk, Qaqortoq, Greenland; with a stop in Kirkwall before arriving in Harwich on August 20. A two-night post-cruise hotel stay in London is included. The inside category M fare starts at $5,082 per person for a category J oceanview cabin.

Combine Fjords, Faroes, Fire & Ice with Iceland & Greenland for a 25-night In the Wake of the Vikings Grand Voyage. Inside category M fare starts at $7,176 per person for a category J oceanview cabin. This reflects a savings of up to $3,374 per person.

Flying from North America on August 27, guests will begin a two-night pre-cruise London hotel stay before boarding Discovery in Harwich and then departing for Bergen, Ålesund, Hellesyft, Geiranger and Flåm. Disembark in Harwich. Inside category M fare is $3,279 for an oceanview category J cabin.

The mv Discovery repositions to the Mediterranean on September 3, 2010, on a 20-night Grand Iberia & Italy sailing. Included is the two-night pre-cruise London hotel stay before visiting Lisbon, Gibraltar, Almeria, Nice (overnight), Santa Margherita, Livorno for Florence/Pisa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Sorrento (overnight), Palermo (overnight), Catania and disembark in Valletta. Inside category N fare is $4,574 for a category K cabin.

The Late Summer Sale is first come, first served and may be withdrawn at any time. Guests book an inside category N or M and are upgraded to an ocenview category K or J respectively.
